Ingeborg V. Seaboyer
is a lifelong resident of Derry, New Hampshire. Her art education has stretched from Pinkerton Academy, to The University of New Hampshire, to the Manchester Institute of Arts & Sciences (now the New Hampshire Institute of Art) where she began to explore Pen & Ink drawing in 1993.
A forester with the State of New Hampshire, Division of Forests & Lands, her drawing has turned into something of a second career. She has illustrated two books: Selecting Trees for Urban Landscape Ecosystems, and Good Forestry in the Granite State, and provided most of the illustrations for Project Learning Tree's Focus on New Hampshire Forests. Additionally, she has completed commissions for the New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association, the New Hampshire Tree Farm Committee and U.N.H. Cooperative Extension.
She has combined both watercolor and colored pencil with her pen & ink, as well as experimenting with watercolor and oils.
Prints of the art work displayed can be purchased from the artist by contacting her via email at: woodsong@myfairpoint.net or by visiting her website at www.derryareaartists.com
